This table represents actual calibration values for production AIM-8x units. The HI value represents the highest value recorded in the sample. The LOW value represents the lowest value recorded in the sample.  The TYP value is the average of all twelve samples. Your instrument should calibrate close to the TYP values, and should not be outside the HI-LOW value range.

NOTE: If your instrument calibrates outside the HI-LOW value range, repeat the calibration process following the calibration procedure exactly as described in the users manual, with lead # 5 connected to lead # 1 during the calibration process.  Be sure to allow several seconds (5 or 6) after the calibration prompt Window appears on the computer screen before pressing the Space Bar to initiate calibration! If after several attempts your instrument still will not calibrate inside the HI-LOW value range, contact Bio-Impedance Technology, Inc. (919-960-7799) or (email: jsh@microtronics-bit.com) for service.
