This version uses a USB Data Acquisition System that is compatible with both desktop and notebook (laptop) computers.

1 Perci Speech Aeromechanics Research System (Version 4.01) Windows Hosted Software and Hardware Interface for acquisition of up to four pressure - flow data channels and one Speech data channel. System has optional Input for SPL and Pitch. The standard system uses 3 channels (Oral Pressure, Nasal Pressure and Flow. A calibrated microphone is supplied for simultaneous voice (with SPL and Pitch available). NOTE! Minimum Computer Requirements: Windows PC, 1 GHz Processor with 1GB Memory, 1280x1024 Display minimum, 500 Gig Local Hard Disk and External Server Storage recommended for automatic data backup, USB connection (1.1 or 2.0) , Windows 7(32/64bit), Multimedia Speakers are also recommended.
